About Measure Tech

Measure Tech’s beginning goes back to 1978 when the company’s sister company, Precision Measurements, started by creating specialized parts for the military, space and laboratory business sectors. Some examples of this early work include the gun speed sensor for the F16, various missile parts, and specialized thermocouples for the Brookhaven National Laboratory.

The Chatsworth, California based company entered the commercial aircraft business sector in 2009 with FAA/PMA parts and DER repairs. Many commercial aerospace milestones have been achieved over the years including:

• The shell & insert assembly and elbow connector PMA parts included in the CRJ illustrated parts catalog for the CRJ700/900/1000 regional jets as approved alternatives because of reliability improvements through the use of new materials and production methods.
• A new 777 brake temperature sensor creates cost reduction surpassing 60% for a major U.S. airline.
• The MRO operation successfully creates a repair for a Fan Inlet Temp Sensor that provide cost reduction exceeding 50% and improves reliability using new methods and technology.

Many new innovative products and programs are being planned and created as Measure Tech continues its growth by specializing in manufacturing and repairing switches, sensors, thermocouples and bleed leak detection repair parts.
